The Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation announced a freshly defined and enhanced strategic plan for expanding its Youth Arts & Culture Program, known as Kids in the Theatre. As such, Jordan Wiley-Hill was hired to fill the new position of youth arts and culture program associate. Wiley-Hill has an extensive background in youth performance art, education and program development. In this newly created position, Wiley-Hill reports to executive director Craig Sumberg and the Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation Board.
“We’re striving to ensure that the youth programming here at The Fox can have as much of a beneficial impact as possible on our community, as we bring together youth from all walks of life to be inspired, empowered, and sense the creative potential within themselves and all people,” Wiley-Hill said.
He is tasked with expanding existing programs and developing new arts and culture experiences and opportunities for families and participating youth. Resting upon the program’s three pillars for success, youth events will focus on programming, education, and community outreach. Wiley-Hill is also currently in dialogue with teachers, parents and other professionals serving children to unearth specific arts and culture programming voids within diverse youth populations.
