More than 30 years after joining the then-startup company, longtime Tucson resident Barbi Reuter was recently named Chief Executive Officer of commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR. Reuter was also named the chair of the company’s board.
Reuter will also be responsible for the company’s strategic direction.
“I could not be more confident the company is in good hands,” said company founder Mike Hammond, in a release announcing the move. “C&W | PICOR is now fully in position to take on the future and whatever it brings.”
Reuter joined the company in 1985 as a student of the University of Arizona, and become a shareholder in 1992. Until she joined company leadership in 2006, Reuter led the property management division.
“What we’ve all built together is incredibly special, from our culture to our client-centric focus in the Tucson commercial real estate market,” Reuter said. “It’s my honor to serve both our team and community as we grow forward.”
In addition to her role with Cushman & Wakefield, Reuter also sits on the boards of the Tucson Metro Chamber as a past chair, YMCA of Southern Arizona, Sun Corridor Inc. and the PICOR Charitable Foundation.
