A $10 million transformation will soon take place at Gateway at Tucson Apartments, a 188-unit complex located at 2800 W. Broadway Boulevard. Built in 2005 to serve as student housing, the complex will be reintroduced at a 272-unit, multifamily community.
Holualoa Companies purchased the property in November 2018 with plans to transform it “into a more dynamic and inviting residential community to help meet a surge in demand for multifamily in the Tucson marketplace,” according to a recent release.
Lani Baker, vice president—finance of Holualoa Companies, said in a statement that the property was an “ideal opportunity for renovation” because of its proximity to downtown Tucson.
