Hobby Lobby new location

Hobby Lobby’s new 55,000 square-foot location will open at North Oracle and West Orange Grove roads in the beginning of next year.

Hobby Lobby has finalized plans to expand into three new locations in Southern Arizona, with stores opening as soon as late 2017. 

The company’s second store in metropolitan Tucson is under construction on 55,220 square feet of anchor space at the Plaza Del Oro shopping center at the northeast corner of North Oracle and West Orange Grove roads, next to the new CVS.  CBRE Tucson’s Nancy McClure and David Leathers of D.E. Johnson & Associates represented Hobby Lobby in the transaction. The landlord, Plaza Del Oro, LLC, represented itself.  This store is planned to open second quarter 2018.

Hobby Lobby also cemented a 55,185 square foot location to open in mid-2018 at the northwest corner of I-19 and West Irvington Road at the new Fashion Park Shopping Center. Nancy McClure of CBRE and David Leathers of D.E. Johnson & Associates represented Hobby Lobby in the transaction. The landlord, Irvington Interstate Partners, LLC, represented itself.

Wags and Whiskers, LLC leased 1,200 square feet within the Rancho Sahuarita Marketplace for a pet grooming and day boarding business from Sahuarita Commercial Ventures, LLC.Dave Hammack, Brenna Lacey, and Kevin Volk of Volk Company handled the transaction.

Skechers, USA leased 18,000 square feet of retail space in the Circle Plaza Shopping Center, 7166 E. Broadway Blvd. from Circle Plaza Associates, LLC.  Greg Furrier with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR represented the tenant and Andy Seleznov with Larsen Baker, LLC represented the landlord.

Gary R. Repovsch, CPA, P.C. leased 1,940 square feet at 1 W. Wetmore Road., Ste. 107 from Issa and Henrietta Hallaq. Tom Nieman with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR represented the landlord and David Montijo with CBRE, Inc. represented the tenant.

Vendamerica, Inc., dba Boost Store by Launch Wireless leased 1,200 square feet at 7932 E. Broadway Blvd from Pantano/Broadway, LLC. Brenna Lacey of Volk Company represented the landlord.

Thrive and Grow Gardens leased 1,400 square feet at 3755 E. 34th St., Ste. 113 from Rodgers Investment Fund, II, LP. Max Fisher with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR represented the landlord and the tenant. 

Sprint Cellular leased 1,100 square feet of retail space in Marketplace On Broadway, 1830 E. Broadway Blvd., at the southwest corner of Broadway Blvd. and Campbell Ave. from Broadway Tucson Investors, LLC. Greg Furrier and Rob Tomlinson with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR handled the transaction.  

Boost Mobil leased 1,495 square feet of retail space in Speedway Center, 3017 E. Speedway Blvd., on the northwest corner of East Speedway Blvd. and North Country Club Road from Mahoney Family Partnership. Greg Furrier with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR represented the landlord.

Goldsmith Real Estate purchased 1,679 square feet of office space at 5431 N. Oracle Road in the Cresta Loma Offices from 5431 Oracle LLC for $282,500. Goldsmith Real Estate represented itself in the transaction and David Montijo and Damian Wilkinson of CBRE represented the seller.
