Scott Simonson, of Quarles & Brady, LLP, was named top 50 of Arizona’s Pro Bono Attorneys.
Simonson is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and works with the firm’s Indian Law Group. As part of his pro bono work, he represents veterans in disability benefits cases before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He received his law degree, cum laude, from the University Of Arizona James E. Rodgers College Of Law and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Oregon.
Tucson Quarles & Brady attorney Scott Simonson has been selected as one of the 2014 recipients of the Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys in Arizona award from the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education (AZFLSE).
The foundation instituted the award in 2001 to recognize attorneys who have tirelessly given their time and expertise to assist Arizonans who would otherwise have no legal resources.
Simonson was nominated by the Southern Arizona Legal Aid Volunteer Lawyers Program. He will be recognized at the Arizona State Bar Association’s annual convention to be held in Tucson in June 2014.
